WATCH: Tom Cruise Is Back, Talking To Skies, In Top Gun: Maverick Trailer

After a long wait of 33 years, Tom Cruise is back, talking to skies, in Top Gun's next installment. But this time, it’s about a new chapter, a new journey, and a new inspiring story. Top Gun: Maverick trailer was just revealed by the actor, at the ongoing SDCC 2019 (San Diego Comic-Con), after which it also arrived on all the online platforms as well.

Cruise will be reprising his role of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell from the 1986 film, based on the lives of U.S Navy fighter pilots, in which he will be seen guiding a new generation.

The trailer starts with scenes of astonishing flights of fighter planes and then comes in Pete aka Cruise. By the look of it, it seems that Pete will be playing a key role in assisting the new-age pilots, for the country.

He’s also shown as someone who’s a great veteran, but never seen a promotion so far in his life, despite his effortless services for the force. And now he’s facing a situation of his own ‘extinction’.

For the die-hard lovers of Cruise’s charismatic stunt sequences, this movie is surely going to be a treat, again, after 2018's Mission Impossible: Fallout. And there’s also one bike-riding moment too, of the actor, in the trailer.

Top Gun: Maverick also stars Ed Harris, Miles Teller (playing the son of Goose, who was in the first film), Glen Powell, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, and Jay Ellis, among others. The story of the film will take place 34 years after the events of its predecessor.
