A new, fresh leak has sparked another curiosity among the DC die-hards as the villain Firefly is now emerging to be an integral part of yet-to-be-finished The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight, helmed by Matt Reeves.

An unknown user who claims to have read the first third of Matt Reeves’ screenplay, recently posted a picture of a draft on Imgur, at the end of last month, on February 29, 2020.

In his post, he wrote that he has “read roughly the first 3rd of Matt Reeves The Batman.”

Adding further he also mentioned that the “movie is very noir” and “narrated by Bruce Wayne in the style of Maltese Falcon”.

Here’s a bit of an excerpt from what this anonymous user posted on Imgur, about the DC movie:

“The movie opens with Batman closing in on a series of arsons he’s been tracking that he feels will be the key to taking down Carmine Falcone, his biggest adversary since taking on the mantle of Batman.

He finds Firefly there, action action action, beats Firefly, calls Gordon. Gordon and Batman have a very hesitant, distrusting relationship. But with a heavy amount of respect. Gordon clearly thinks that Batman is quickly getting in over his head.”

Mentioning about Firefly, the user further wrote:

“The information from Firefly leads Batman to Oswald Cobblepot, who is the leader of a rival family. Isn’t referred to as Penguin in the script. He was paying Firefly to burn down Falcone stash houses.

When Batman gets back to the Batmobile he finds a question mark painted on the hood in blood. He follows the blood trail to find the body of Carmine Falcone with a letter containing a pinned to his chest.

Wasn’t able to read any further than that.”
