MCU News: Black Widow Movie Villain, Taskmaster, Revealed Through Leaked Set Photos

Seems like there’s no word called ‘secrecy’ for MCU’s upcoming film of phase 4, Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson. Because recently, some new set photos—and also a video—from the set of the movie have been leaked online. Not only this but according to strong speculations, the film’s villain has also reportedly been revealed now—and it’s Taskmaster!

Yes, you read that right. All the MCU fans, who were waiting for years, to see Marvel comics’ one of the best super villains on the big screen, will have their dream come true next year, certainly.

The film directed by Cate Shortland and currently being shot in Budapest has been under the observation of social media ever since the first set photo was released, previously, when Scarlett Johansson was captured.

Black Widow v Taskmaster

Though, the official slate for phase 4 will be announced by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, at the San Diego Comic-Con, only after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, but the reach of social media is so much that even before that, the key information has been out like wildfire.

You can check out the video posted on Twitter, which shows the footage from Black Widow and by the look of the person in it, it can be said that it's surely the Taskmaster, but in a slightly different costume as compared to the comic book version of himself.

There was a picture too, taken by someone, away from the set. It also shows the Taskmaster, a bit more clearly.

There have been several other pictures which were leaked online, over a month ago, on social media, showing red-haired Scarlett Johansson, aka Natasha Romanoff, on the set locations.

All in all, the best thing when looked upon the fans’ perspective is that Taskmaster is coming to MCU, finally. And knowing that it’s almost confirmed now, as far as the set photos and videos are concerned, looks like the movie itself will be a thrilling adventure in itself.

Black Widow, the yet-to-be-announced MCU movie is being directed by Cate Shortland and will be releasing next year.
