Kristen Stewart Reveals She Was Once Told To Hide Her Sexuality To Be A Part Of A Marvel Movie

Actress Kristen Stewart, who’s been a part of successful Twilight franchise in the past, and is currently busy with her upcoming projects, recently had a detailed interaction with Harper’s Bazaar, two days ago.

And during the interview, with the American magazine, she revealed that due to the increasing popularity of the Marvel movies, she had been once told by someone, to hide her sexuality if she wanted to be a part of any movie under the Marvel Studios.

"I have fully been told, 'If you just like do yourself a favour, and don’t go out holding your girlfriend’s hand in public, you might get a Marvel movie.'"

The Personal Shopper actress, however, is not a person who hides away from who she is, and she told Harper’s Bazaar the same.

She said that she didn’t want to work with people like that who wanted her to hide what she was as an individual; and that she has stayed away from such people.

Well, the current situation in the industry, the world over, has changed drastically considering the number of films coming up on different sexual orientations. Taking as a total contrast the past notions, even the Marvel Studios has now opted to feature characters of other sexualities in their films, like Avengers: Endgame, earlier this year, in which Joe Russo’s character was shown as a gay.

So, Kristen is totally right about her own choice of being who she is as an individual, and it’s totally up to her who she gets attracted to; no matter if it’s a man or a woman.

People across the globe are evolving with their thinking towards those who are attracted to same-sex or have other preferences. Still, there are those who can’t accept the freedom of others to be what they want to be when it comes to their sexual identities.

Speaking of Kristen’s career then it’s not been affected in any way due to her being a bisexual. In fact, she has now evolved as an actress, getting accolades for her roles in films like Clouds of Sils Maria and Personal Shopper.
She will next be seen in the upcoming reboot of Charlie’s Angels.
