Hows The Jaish: Watch IAF Fighter Jet destroy Terrorist Camps, deploy 1000kg Bombs

Not just Nationalists but a response to Pulwama Attack was a welcome choice made by countless Indians after the growing tension between India and Pakistan escalated killing 44 CRPF personnel. The ‘fidayeen’ jihadis dastardly attack backed by JeM left the country in despair despising the continuous support of Pakistan towards terrorism.

Two weeks after the Pulwama attack, Indian forces strike back as Indian Air  Force carried out aerial strikes at major terror camps in  Pakistan, including Balakot which is reportedly the control center of JeM.

In an IAF Attack in Balakot at 3:30 am on 26th Feb, 12 Mirage 2000 Fighter Jets of the Indian Air  Force carrying 1000 kg of bomb crossed the Line of Control (LOC)  and hit the several terror camps. Indian jets crossed 50 miles undetected into Pakistan and hit Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The other two target places were Chakothi and  Muzaffarabad which lies in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The Mirage  2000 was chosen to carry out the mission because of its multirole combat capabilities facilitating precision strike.

It nearly 20  minutes to carry out the precision strike and the airbase of Agra and  Bareilly was used by the IAF for the operation. Reportedly  200-300 terrorists were killed in the attack reducing the terror camps into ashes.

Sources confirmed that the strike was carried out with the help of all the ground intelligence agencies and declared 100  percent successful.

Meanwhile, Ajit Doval briefed the cabinet, on Security meeting, which was scheduled to take place at the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at around 7 a.m. in the morning today. The meeting attended by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley,  External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath  Singh, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, National Security  Advisor Ajit Doval and other top officials of the PMO and the security apparatus mainly focussed on the operation.

A formal response from Prime  Minister Narendra Modi from Churu in Rajasthan in the wake of the attack indicated an upcoming war that will leave no low-cost options to Pakistan. Addressing the people PM also said that he was updated about every step about the strike.

The mastermind or Chief Planner of Mirage air strike Ajit Doval is the chief planner of the previous Surgical strike that took place in 2017.

Pakistan's  Response To Air Strike:

Hours after the strike Major General Asif Ghafoor, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the army, tweeted over the intrusion.

“Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzaffarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force  released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage,” it added.

Result Of Airstrike:

After this strike, it will be difficult for Pakistan to refuse its involvement in any terrorist attack in India, since the  terror camps are found on their land.

A Pakistani drone was destroyed at the Kutch border at 6:30 in the  morning today. Pakistan has called an emergency meeting to  discuss the recent incident. India has targeted 13 terror camps, three of which were destroyed in  this strike.

 India’s Response to Airstrike:

V.K Gokhale, foreign secretary briefed the country about the surgical strike at the press conference, he said in his statement that  Pakistan has continuously denied the existence of any terrorist group despite of the fact that India has provided the location of these camps in Pakistan and in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK). He further claimed that a terrorist group capable of training hundred of jihadists couldn’t have worked without the knowledge of  Pakistan's authorities.

“India has been repeatedly urging Pakistan to take action against JeM and prevent jihadis from being trained and armed inside Pakistan, Pakistan has taken no concrete action to dismantle the infrastructure of the terrorism on on its soil. In the face of eminent  danger a preventive strike became absolutely necessary,” he said.

"In the early hours of today India attacked the largest training camp of JeM in Balakot, in this operation a very large number trainers,  senior commanders, and groups jihadis who have trained for fidayeen action were eliminated, the government of India is firmly and resolutely committed to  taking all necessary measures to fight the terrorism, hence this  non-military preemptive action was specifically targeted at the JeM  camp. It was also designed to avoid any civilian casualties. The  facility is located in. thick forest on a hilltop far away from any  civilian presence.”, the foreign secretary further added.

This facility at Balakot was headed by Maulana Yusuf Azhar, alias Ustad Ghauri brother in law of  Masood Azhar, chief of JeM.
