The next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be very exciting and huge—even bigger than the Infinity Saga! And beginning phase 4 in 2020 will be the first MCU flick, Black Widow starring actress Scarlett Johansson who has now become a fan favorite, among many other actors in the franchise history. The superhero flick will be arriving to tell the story of Natasha Romanoff’s character, between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.
But recently, a piece of big news, although unofficial, has spread across the internet regarding the Black Widow trailer's release day. And according to sources close to Marvel, the trailer will be dropping on December 3!
Not only that, in fact, there’s another good news for the Indian fans of the MCU. Disney’s Indian head of entertainment, Bikram Duggal just announced that instead of coming in May 2020, Black Widow will now be arriving early in the country, on April 30.
Read the official statement from Disney India:
Over the last few years, Marvel movies have brought about an entertainment revolution in the country. Every superhero from Marvel -- be it Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and even the newer members like Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel - have become household names. Black Widow is one such character who has been integral to the Marvel journey and has been a fan favorite; especially in India. We have seen Natasha Romanoff as a spy, assassin and an Avenger; but she remains a mystery and fans now want to know her origin story more than ever. And as a special treat for these fans; we are releasing Black Widow a day prior to the US.
Directed by Cate Shortland and also starring David Harbour (from Stranger Things), Florence Pugh, and Rachel Weisz. And an almost confirmed news of Robert Downey Jr. returning as Tony Stark/Iron Man, for a cameo, has also surfaced now. And it seems certain that he will be coming, for sure.
