When it comes to domestic earnings then the Joe and Anthony Russo directorial has made more than $807 million in the US. It’s already the second biggest movie in North America, being only behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $937 million.
Talking about the overseas collections, then Endgame has now gone beyond $1.9 billion (only behind Avatar’s overseas total).
Considering the fact that it’s still earning around 1 million a day, chances are certain that by the end of this week, which is it's seventh, the global collections will reach to $2.720 billion. And then it will need only $70 million in the next weekend to create a new history.
In China, the box-office run of Walt Disney’s Avengers: Endgame already ended a few days ago. But upon its end, it became the highest grossing Hollywood movie in the Chinese market, with $630 million!
Well, there are many box-office rivals also for Endgame. After Detective Pikachu and John Wick: Chapter 3 made it a bit difficult for the Marvel superhero flick to chase down Avatar’s total, new releases like Godzilla 2: King of Monsters and Brightburn are also here. The former is sure to take the first position at the box-office, this weekend.
Disney’s own Aladdin is also doing great worldwide and in the process, giving a good fight to its fellow MCU biggie, that is, Endgame (both are from Walt Disney).
And in the next week, Fox and Disney’s Dark Phoenix will be arriving. Though that movie is rumored to be a flop, it will surely take some share of the box-office from Avengers.
It’s still not known exactly when the Avengers will beat Avatar’s global figures. Because nothing is confirmed, as of now.Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
