Avengers: Endgame Is The No.1 Movie of All Time! Dethrones James Cameron’s Avatar, Eventually

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame has done it, officially, and now, it’s the number one movie of all time, in box-office history. The 23rd MCU film has dethroned James Cameron’s Avatar from the top spot.

The biggest superhero flick of 2019 and the entire movie history, has now raked in an estimated $2.79 billion! It’s a new world record at the worldwide box-office. Avatar’s lifetime collection of around $2.788 billion was unbeatable for almost ten years, spanning from 2010 until now. But now, a new champion has emerged.

During the ongoing SDCC 2019, the head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige had himself shared this news with everyone—while also announcing the Phase 4 of the MCU—that Endgame is now officially the greatest movie in the history of cinema.

The most anticipated movie of the year had already smashed many box-office records upon its release, almost three months ago. And now, creating a new milestone, it has also become the first film ever to amass 'almost', but impossible, $3 billion under the period of just ‘three months’!

Considering the unprecedented and unimaginable popularity of the 'Avengers brand' and also taking into the fact the just announced phase of the MCU, it now also looks certain that Endgame will definitely become the very first film to touch the mark of $3 billion at the box-office, provided it gets a big re-release, in case Disney wants to.

Everyone is mad for the MCU at the moment and any movie that comes out under this franchise. No one could’ve imagined that the journey that began with 2008’s Iron Man would lead to this, with a new history being created in 2019.

It’s the start of new pop culture phenomenon, a new revolution of the superhero films, in a world, where people believe in these characters and give them their utmost love, with undying passion.

Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and starring Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo, among many others, Avengers: Endgame is still running, astonishingly, in theaters worldwide.

The Digital copy of the film will be arriving one week later, on July 30th, while the BluRay will be making its way on August 13th, 2019.
