Avengers: Endgame Fans Waiting For ‘Endless Hours’ In Long Online Queues To Buy Movie Tickets!

There’s no denying about one single fact—Avengers: Endgame is a movie that has become everyone’s dream at the moment. No one wants to miss this highly anticipated film in the history of cinema, no matter whatever it takes!

But it’s not that easy to grab a chance when it comes to getting a ticket for yourself and booking a seat in the theater.

The current scenario is just that across the globe. Fans are waiting in huge online queues to wait for their turn to purchase Endgame movie tickets. Last week, the news from the US came that online booking portals like Fandango and others had crashed due to unprecedented traffic on the servers by thousands of people.

The latest report is coming from Singapore now, where people have been made to wait for more than an hour to log on to the portal and book their tickets.

Singaporean fans have been complaining and showing their frustrations of not being able to get a chance to do the transactions.

Shaw Cinema (an online portal) had introduced an online queue management system, that ultimately resulted in over 72,000 people waiting for hours, just to turn up for their chance for booking the movie ticket.

Other portals like Golden Village and Cathay Cinemas also faced a similar problem, with the online payment systems.

The cinema portals told that their websites were unable to take the unexpected numbers of people trying to buy online tickets.

One frustrated Singaporean fan tweeted about the same.

This is just one aspect of the situation. Another thing is that those who were lucky and fortunate enough to get a ticket for themselves, are actually reselling it for unimaginably higher prices!

In Singapore, tickets for Avengers: Endgame are now being resold for as high as $600 Singapore dollars! The original price of the ticket was just $20 Singapore dollars. Now, you can imagine how much craze is there for this movie, across the movie fanatics, who are even ready to pay any amount for the ticket.

Well, the latest craziness for Endgame is not a surprise since in the past Marvel Studios’ The Avengers was also a huge hit in Singapore. It was the highest grossing movie in the country earning around $12.9 million Singapore dollars.

Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Endgame is just two weeks away from its worldwide release, on April 26, 2019.
